Know before you go
Booking lead time
Testing is appointment-only in the published clinic windows; afternoon support drop-in is available on selected weekdays.
Best appointment
Contact before noon for routing, and state exposure date, symptoms, mobility needs or harm-reduction needs immediately.
Client mix
People affected by HIV and other STBBIs, including cis and trans gay, bi and other men who have sex with men and wider priority communities.
What to prepare or wear
Confirm identification and Alberta Health requirements, the tests offered and the second-floor stair access before travelling.
Provider inclusion
Its roots in AIDS Calgary, peer support, gender-neutral washrooms and non-judgmental testing are strong; lack of step-free office access is a serious caveat.
