Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Weekdays and daylight patio hours are completely walk-in friendly. On Friday and Saturday nights between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the entrance bottlenecks heavily on Colfax Avenue as crowds converge, resulting in a fast-moving 20 to 35-minute queue at the door.
Best night
Drop in early between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday to catch their legendary 2-for-1 Happy Hour—where your first order secures a poker chip redeemable for your second drink.
Locals vs visitors
An incredibly rich, vibrant, and highly fluid cross-section of the community.
Dress code in practice
Fiercely casual, expressive, and come-as-your-hottest-self. You will see patrons in standard tank tops, alternative streetwear, and shorts optimized for hot patio days, alongside mesh tops, glitter, and full club-kid glam for night shows.
Staff inclusion
Exceptionally high marks across the local scene. Formally integrated as a verified Transgender Safespace and LGBTQ+ Friendly stronghold, the bartending crew and floor handlers (with heavy local praise for standouts like Wade and Max) are celebrated for fast, highly attentive, and fiercely welcoming service.
