Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Weekdays and daylight hours are completely walk-in friendly. On peak Friday and Saturday nights between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the entrance lines bottleneck along Colfax Avenue, creating a fast-moving 15 to 30-minute queue as the dual dance floors approach total capacity.
Best night
Thursdays and Saturdays early in the evening are absolute staples if you want to jump in on their famous, highly interactive free country-western line dancing lessons.
Locals vs visitors
An aggressively diverse, intergenerational kaleidoscope of the LGBTQ+ community.
Dress code in practice
Fiercely relaxed and expressive.
Staff inclusion
The long-standing bartending crew (many of whom rock classic cowboy hats behind the taps) score incredibly high marks for fast service and high energy.
