Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Large holiday weekends, Invasion and headline events can produce a dock-to-door rush. Check ticketing, cover and the final Sayville ferry before committing.
Best night
Select a named drag show, pool event, underwear party or DJ listing; daytime opening does not mean the nightclub programme runs continuously.
Locals vs visitors
Cherry Grove residents, hotel guests, day visitors, drag audiences and late-night dancers mix differently by event and holiday weekend.
Dress code in practice
Beach clothing works by day; ticketed nights may specify swimwear, underwear or a theme. Bring ID and respect photography boundaries.
Staff inclusion
The venue is central to Cherry Grove's LGBTQ history, but event access and building routes vary. Contact the operator before relying on step-free access.
