Safety
Provincetown is broadly one of the easiest queer destinations for visibility and comfort, especially in season when the whole town is built around shared queer energy. The main practical things to manage are bikes, weather, sand, hydration, ferry timing, and not exhausting yourself because everything feels so tempting and walkable. The biggest risk is often overcommitting to pleasure.

Provincetown is strongest when you let the whole place feel like one long social current rather than chasing one mega-club payoff. Provincetown gets expensive fast in peak summer and event periods, especially once lodging enters the conversation. The destination rewards booking early more than almost any other queer town.
