Hotel CC Amsterdam
About this venue
Hotel CC Amsterdam is an exceptionally stylish, independent boutique hotel that offers a highly welcoming and inclusive base for LGBTQ+ travelers. Formally recognized as an explicitly gay-friendly property and a transgender-safe space, this hotel is all about design-forward comfort and an absolute premier location. It is beautifully built by combining three historic, listed 17th-century canal houses, blending original wooden ceiling beams and exposed brick walls with sleek, minimalist modern interior design.

Know before you go
Check-in wait
Hotel CC has 24-hour reception and is cashless. Standard hotel check-in applies; bring physical ID and a payment card. Monumental-house layouts vary, and some attic rooms require partial stairs despite the lift, so verify the assigned category.
Best time to stay
Book for Central Station, Zeedijk and Red Light District access, not for an in-house queer programme. Weekend street noise and visitor traffic are the trade-off; courtyard or suitable lower-access rooms make more sense for a quieter stay.
Guest mix
International tourists, couples, families and nightlife visitors form a mainstream three-star hotel audience. The Zeedijk location is close to gay venues, but the hotel does not evidence queer ownership or a transgender-specialist operation.
Dress expectations
No hotel dress rule applies. Travel clothes are sufficient. Carry valid ID because visitors must register, and note that external visitors are restricted after 23:00—important if your nightlife plan assumes bringing someone back.
Staff inclusion
The useful policies are 24-hour reception, lift access and registered-visitor rules, not an unsupported trans-safe label. Historic construction means access varies by room; confirm lift reach and chosen name before arrival in writing.
