Pink Dot Community Core

Typical queue

Pink Dot is a free annual outdoor event, not a club. In 2026 doors opened at 16:00; security required original approved proof of Singapore citizenship or permanent residence for the barricaded event space. Foreign visitors could not enter that area.

Best night

Only the announced annual date—27 June in 2026. Community villages ran 16:00-19:00, speeches at 19:00 and the light-up at 19:30; the official livestream is the accessible alternative outside the entry rules.

Locals vs visitors

Singaporean and PR LGBTQ+ people, families, children, community organisations, volunteers, allies and pets attend. More than 20 LGBTQ+ groups staffed the 2026 community tents.

Dress code in practice

Comfortable pink clothing, refillable water, rain protection and a pink torch are recommended. Smoking and vapes are prohibited; the event is rain or shine and attendees bring their own food.

Staff inclusion

Pink Dot gives LGBTQ+ community groups direct space, runs family-friendly programming and publishes unusually clear citizenship, child, ID, pet and livestream access information. Legal participation restrictions are governmental and must be shown prominently.
