Event Detail
Shygirl with Alaska & Joey Christ
Reykjavik event intelligence with schedule context, vibe signal, and safer routing.
About this event
Shygirl brings her club-focused live show to Reykjavík City Hall's Tjarnarsalur for an Iceland Airwaves special on 4 November, with Alaska and Joey Christ opening. Her work across Club Shy, Nymph and collaborations with artists including SOPHIE, Arca and FKA twigs gives the night a sharp queer-pop and experimental-club edge rather than a conventional concert format.

Event intelligence
Know before you go
Entry wait
The show starts at 20:00 and tickets begin at 9,990 ISK. The organiser has moved the performance to Tjarnarsalur inside Reykjavík City Hall, so check your ticket email and arrive early enough for the updated room and entry route.
Best arrival time
Aim to arrive before 20:00 to catch Alaska and Joey Christ's opening sets and to avoid entering after Shygirl's club-show atmosphere has already built.
Attendee mix
Iceland Airwaves attendees, Reykjavík queer-community members, experimental-pop listeners, club-music fans and guests following Shygirl's boundary-crossing electronic work.
Dress code in practice
No dress code is listed. Expressive clubwear works well for a Shygirl show, but choose layers that suit an indoor city-hall venue as well as a standing music crowd.
Host and security inclusion
Shygirl's work openly centres queer club culture and collaborations across transgressive pop and electronic scenes. The bill creates a visible place for club-minded, LGBTQ+ and experimental-music audiences within the festival programme.
