Venue Detail
Cafe Bar Flirt
About this venue
Café Bar Flirt is Prague's double-dealing, neon-lit social shapeshifter that seamlessly transitions from a chic daytime espresso lounge into a sweaty late-night playground right in the historical heart of the Old Town. Spanning two beautifully distinct structural levels, this gay-friendly institution keeps things effortlessly fluid. The ground floor welcomes you into a bright, stylishly cluttered aesthetic filled with plush seating—perfect for sipping craft cocktails, casual mid-day networking, or a bit of daytime flirting. But as darkness settles over Prague 1, the energy flips completely.

Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Minimal exterior lines during the week, with quick entry lasting 0 to 5 minutes. Small bottlenecks accumulate at the basement threshold on Friday and Saturday nights between 23:30 and 01:00 as the dance floor fills up, which can trigger a brief 10 to 15-minute wait to clear door checks.
Best night
Drop in at 16:00 if you are looking for a relaxed, conversational daytime café vibe. If you are chasing a proper, sweaty retro dance night, descend into the brick cellar around 22:30 right as the pop remixes heat up and the basement hits its stride.
Locals vs visitors
A thoroughly welcoming, authentic blend of locals and international travelers. It plays host to a highly diverse matrix of local Czech gay and lesbian regulars, young backpackers, non-binary creatives, and casual groups of friends looking for deeply affordable drinks without commercial club snobbery.
Dress code in practice
Strictly casual, easygoing comfort.
Staff inclusion
Excellent. Café Bar Flirt operates under a strict, unyielding manifesto welcoming absolutely everyone regardless of orientation, gender, nationality, or age. The bartending team is widely praised by visitors for providing cheap, fast, and intensely friendly hospitality.
