Kobalt Bar
About this venue
A performance-focused Phoenix LGBTQ+ bar known for curated drag, cabaret, karaoke, trivia and an active ticket calendar. Kobalt works less like an anonymous dance club and more like a stage where choosing the production determines the audience, price and pace.

Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Ticketed drag and Pride productions create a check-in rush; ordinary karaoke and trivia are easier if seating is not tied to a reserved ticket.
Best night
Choose Cabergay, a curated drag production, karaoke or trivia by name. The bar's strength is programme specificity, not one universal weekend peak.
Locals vs visitors
Drag artists and fans, gay men, queer creatives, trans and non-binary audiences and cabaret regulars shift according to the production.
Dress code in practice
Smart casual through full drag all work unless a theme says otherwise. Bring ID, a ticket confirmation and tips for performers.
Staff inclusion
The sustained LGBTQ+ performance calendar and broad drag forms provide direct evidence. Contact the venue before purchase for seating or access accommodation.
