Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical wait
R House is generally a walk-in bar rather than a velvet-rope queue. The trade-off for arriving late is a fuller room and slower service, especially on event nights.
Best time to visit
Friday is the standout: the drag programme gives R House its most distinctive weekly atmosphere. Go earlier if you want more room before the peak.
Locals vs visitors
Drag-brunch groups, LGBTQ locals, Wynwood diners, tourists and celebration parties share a performance-focused restaurant crowd that changes between dinner and weekend shows.
What people wear
Polished casual suits R House: intentional enough for cocktails, still relaxed enough for a long night at the bar.
Staff inclusion
R House explicitly produces LGBTQ drag programming in a full-service restaurant. Reserve accessible seating and communicate dietary needs when booking because brunch staging and table positions differ.
