Klub K4 / K4 Roza

Type: clubRating: 0.0Reviews: 0

About this venue

K4 is a mixed underground electronic club, but recurring K4 Roza nights bring a distinctly queer charge to the basement. When Roza takes over, the bass drops, the wardrobe opens, and the dance floor becomes considerably more fluent. Vibe: Intimate, raw, and high-energy. The venue splits into two rooms: a main floor with a crisp sound system and minimalist lighting for heavy techno and house, and a smaller back room perfect for experimental beats, drum & bass, and breaks. It gets hot, sweaty, and beautifully dark.

Venue intelligence

Know before you go

Typical queue

Generally very fast and chill. You can expect a 5 to 20-minute wait at the door, peaking around midnight to 1:00 AM.

Best night

Friday night, which is traditionally reserved for their most cutting-edge underground selectors and dedicated queer/alternative student nights.

Locals vs visitors

A loyal, tight-knit community of local artsy students, underground electronic music purists, and Ljubljana's progressive LGBTQ+ crowd. It feels incredibly welcoming and entirely free of mainstream pretense.

Dress code in practice

Completely casual, expressive, and comfort-focused. You will see plenty of oversized streetwear, vintage sportswear, thrifted finds, and dark raver gear. There is no snobby door selection based on your clothes—just don't show up in upscale, rigid office wear or a fancy suit.

Staff inclusion

Exceptional. As a historic pillar of the city's alternative and activist scene, the venue is deeply committed to safety and inclusivity. The door staff and bartenders are friendly, progressive, and highly protective of queer, trans, and non-binary patrons.
