About this venue

Club Papuga (Polish for "Parrot") is Kraków's reigning, grand-scale playground of unabashed, multi-floor queer joy. Sprawled across a massive basement right on the edge of the Kazimierz party strip, it serves up absolute tropical bird-of-paradise realness. This is the largest and most consistently packed LGBTQ+ club in the city, offering a sprawling layout featuring two distinct dance floors pounding out contrasting musical vibes, two heavily stocked cocktail bars, a relaxed chill-out room, and a gorgeous hidden summer courtyard garden.

Know before you go

Typical queue

During Thursday karaoke nights, entry is smooth. On peak Friday and Saturday nights between 11:30 PM and 1:30 AM, expect a dense 20–30 minute queue outside the gate as people swarm the door face-control selectors.

Best night

Arrive around 11:00 PM on weekends to breeze past the heaviest part of the entrance line, lock down your coat check, grab a signature cocktail, and watch the dual dance floors erupt into peak chaos right around midnight.

Locals vs visitors

A high-energy, beautiful mix of local Polish queer youth, fashionable university crowds, weekend tourists, drag stans, and welcoming groups of open-minded global allies.

Dress code in practice

"Bright, bold, and dance-floor ready."

Staff inclusion

Extremely high security blanket status. The club implements a strict door vetting selection to filter out any hostile or aggressive individuals.
