Ciemnia Club

Typical queue

During mid-week karaoke nights, you can walk right down the stairs. On Friday and Saturday nights past 1:00 AM, the queue can drag to about 15–20 minutes as techno heads and cruisers wait out the door security vetting process.

Best night

If you want vocal pop camp, hit Wednesday night karaoke. If you want raw, unapologetic electronic music and peak darkroom activity, arrive after 2:00 AM on weekends—or better yet, slide in at 5:00 AM for their notorious, sun-defying morning afterparties.

Locals vs visitors

A thrillingly unpretentious mix of international techno lovers, local leather/kink enthusiasts, open-minded ravers, and cruising locals spanning all generations.

Dress code in practice

"Keep it dark, keep it edgy." While casual streetwear is fine for a casual beer, you'll blend seamlessly into the weekend crowd wearing black mesh, harnesses, leather, crop tops, or nothing but a pair of jockstraps for their thematic parties.

Staff inclusion

Intimate but fiercely protected. Ciemnia proudly operates as an official transgender safe space and LGBTQ+ sanctuary. The door staff operate with a strict buzz-in system to filter out anyone carrying negative or aggressive energy.
