Typical queue

Station 4 is 18+ nightly Wednesday-Sunday from 21:00 to 04:00 and requires physical government ID—photos and digital IDs are rejected. A bag may be no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches; re-entry closes at 02:00 when Afters begins.

Best night

Choose among five formats: Rose Room drag, the two-level main dance floor, Granite rave residencies, Cheat Code gaming and Horror Bar. Thursday Rising Star is easier to decode; Friday/Saturday delivers maximum volume.

Locals vs visitors

A broad queer Dallas crowd, 18-20-year-old nondrinkers, drag audiences, ravers, gamers, trans and nonbinary guests, tourists and allies circulate through different rooms. Alcohol remains strictly 21+.

Dress code in practice

There is no style code: the venue says come dressed how you want. State rules require buttocks, genitals and under-breast areas covered; small bags may be searched.

Staff inclusion

S4 explicitly calls itself everybody's bar and invites guests to dress and dance as themselves. Its 18+ access, multiple interest-specific rooms, clear ID rules and four-decade drag platform are concrete inclusion mechanisms.
