What to send
- The exact Queer Atlas URL or name of the affected venue, event, service, guide, or report.
- What appears wrong, what the corrected information should be, and when you checked it.
- A specific supporting link or document when one is available.
- Whether the issue creates an immediate safety, discrimination, closure, or access risk.
How corrections are prioritized
Immediate safety issues, false closure or opening claims, identity-based exclusion, and high-traffic factual errors receive higher priority. Style preferences and low-impact wording changes may take longer.
What appears in change history
Material changes should record the date and a short explanation. Silent fixes are reserved for spelling, formatting, broken links, or other changes that do not alter the meaning.
Right of reply
Venue owners, organizers, contributors, and community members may submit evidence or context. A right of reply does not guarantee removal of accurate criticism or override independent editorial judgment.
