If you stay outside the core, transport is still easy, but the magic of Vallarta is strongest when everything feels just a few warm minutes away.

Puerto Vallarta is broadly one of the easier queer destinations in the Americas for comfort and visibility, especially in the main tourist and nightlife areas. That does not mean turning your brain off. Keep your normal nightlife awareness, especially around intoxication, valuables, and late-night decisions that look better after three drinks than they do in daylight.
