For the Bear Party, advance tickets and arrival near the 20:00 opening are the low-friction route; a warehouse crowd arriving after pre-drinks creates a different flow. The final walk through the industrial site also needs more time than a city-centre doorway.

Go only for a named dinner, exhibition, concert or queer production. The October Bear Party is the major queer date, while ordinary dinner evenings showcase the architecture and food rather than nightlife. The converted forge feels most alive when the programme is large enough to use its industrial scale.
