Venue Detail
Club Unity
About this venue
Club Unity is giving "massive nightclub realness" with a side of unpretentious fun. Spanning three floors in the heart of the Gay Village, this long-standing staple is a "safe and celebratory" sanctuary where the focus is on freedom and variety. The vibe is vibrant, festive, and high-fidelity, shifting from the high-energy dance floors to a sprawling rooftop terrace that offers one of the best views of the neighborhood. Whether you're here for the top-tier drag shows or to lose yourself in the neon-lit maze of the VIP lounge, the energy is consistently warm and unapologetically diverse.

Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Unity opens Thursday–Saturday at 21:30. Friday/Saturday after midnight and major Pride bookings create the strongest door pressure; bring ID, arrive before the headline set and use the current Sainte-Catherine entrance.
Best night
Thursday is the easier introduction; Friday and Saturday activate the two rooms, VIP area and rooftop most fully. Pick the listed local or international DJ because music and audience shift with the production.
Locals vs visitors
LGBTQ+ locals, gay men, students, visitors and respectful friends form a deliberately varied club crowd. The official positioning is inclusive rather than men-only, with the rooftop providing a less compressed social zone.
Dress code in practice
Relaxed dancewear, trainers and expressive queer club looks fit the unpretentious brief. No strict costume is published. Dress for several floors and a rooftop, and check the promoter before assuming ordinary weekend rules.
Staff inclusion
Unity publishes strict zero tolerance for harassment and tells guests to notify staff immediately about unwanted attention, contact or behaviour. This creates a clear reporting route to bar, floor or security staff in every room.
