Venue Detail
Mad Radio Bogotá
About this venue
Mad Radio Bogotá is the ultimate retro-futuristic audio sanctuary shaking up Bogotá's music scene. Serving as a hybrid online broadcasting booth, record boutique, and electronic nightspot, this queer-friendly and hyper-inclusive cultural center is where local vinyl collectors and alternative clubbers unite. 📻 The Vibe: Eclectic, artistic, and deeply music-centered. Mad Radio strips away the standard corporate club pretense to deliver a cozy, multi-environment space where "vintage meets urban". The venue splits its footprint across a breezy patio, a scenic terrace, and a pulsing indoor music hall equipped with an incredibly crisp, high-fidelity sound system. Musically, it is a boundaryless playground: you can walk in and catch a live daytime radio streaming talk, a groovy funk and disco warm-up set, or deep indie dance and raw underground house loops dropping after dark. The crowd is fluid, diverse, and fiercely dedicated to supporting independent underground selectors.

Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Mad Radio operates Wednesday–Saturday from 20:00 at Carrera 14A #82-42. Entry follows the live programme; arrive near doors for concerts or a sought-after DJ and use official Linktree directions rather than a generic 05:00 guarantee.
Best night
Choose the artist or Music Lovers programme. Live bands, radio-style sessions and DJs can make Wednesday as useful as Saturday; the named booking matters more than a weekly queer assumption.
Locals vs visitors
Music fans, creative professionals, Zona T visitors, concert audiences and LGBTQ+ guests form a mainstream culture-led room. The audience follows the act and is not permanently a queer club crowd.
Dress code in practice
Creative smart-casual and comfortable concert clothing fit. No strict code is published. Dress for a live set and late DJ continuation, with a warm layer for arrival and safe transport home.
Staff inclusion
Mad Radio provides an identifiable venue team, artist channels and direct directions but no published LGBTQ+ welfare standard. Inclusion is partly artist/promoter dependent; locate security and the event producer before the room peaks.
