Venue intelligence
Know before you go
Typical queue
Membership and valid government ID are required. IML and Market Days can create room waitlists; VIP membership has priority entry and room access.
Best night
Choose quieter weekday gym hours, a named event or an on-site testing window. The club is always open, but event and health-service times are specific.
Locals vs visitors
Adult men, local members, visitors, gym users and event-specific fetish or bear groups use the facility; it is explicitly 18+ and men-only.
Dress code in practice
Street clothes are stored for sauna use; named leather or play events may suggest gear. Follow consent, safer-sex and zero-tolerance rules.
Staff inclusion
Steamworks partners with Howard Brown, AFC and other groups for testing and counseling and states disability-service commitments; this is concrete health access evidence.
