Ordinary restaurant and bar hours are accessible, but a 1,500-person VendrediXXL or Pride after creates its own ticket and security flow. Arrive near doors for a major queer edition, especially if the cabaret or downstairs floor matters. Sunday lunch has none of that club pressure.

Best time to visit

Choose the programme, not Friday by default. VendrediXXL, La Bordelle or Pride-linked dates transform the full building; a normal Wednesday works for drinks and culture but is not necessarily queer-led. Sunday is useful for a calmer meal and right-bank walk.

On queer takeovers: LGBTQ+ locals across genders, cabaret audiences, dancers, kink communities and visitors. On ordinary days: a broad Bordeaux culture and food crowd. The venue is a platform whose audience changes with the organiser.

What people wear

No standing restaurant code. Queer editions invite everything from casual riverfront layers to clubwear and fetish looks, but adult zones may have separate rules. Dress for several floors and a riverside journey home.
