Safety
Bogota absolutely rewards practical caution. Night transport, phone awareness, and not wandering aimlessly after hours are all part of playing the city well. None of that means queer travelers cannot have a great time here. It means Bogota works best for people who move deliberately. Use ride apps, keep your route decisions clean, and do not let one good venue tempt you into sloppy transitions across the city when you are tired.
