The core venues are close enough to understand in one evening, while Belfast Pride, The Rainbow Project and long-running support groups give the scene more depth than a simple bar list suggests. The result is social, direct and often much warmer than first-time visitors expect.

Belfast is usually better value than London, Edinburgh or Dublin, though central hotel prices rise around Pride, concerts and major weekends. Pints, casual food and taxis remain relatively manageable by UK capital standards. Staying near the Cathedral Quarter, City Hall or the Linen Quarter keeps most queer nightlife walkable and protects the budget from repeated late-night rides.
